[I received a call but] mine had nothing to do with gay-lesbian issues.

In it, the tip-off question was whether I believed the Democratic or Republican candidate was more likely to
be able to clean up the financial mess in Richmond. At the beginning of the call I had asked who was financing it, Dems or GOP, and the questioner had vowed that the poll was just informational, non-partisan.

I asked if not the party, then who, and the questioner said it was campaign 2001, which at that time meant nothing to me, though it should have if I'd looked at my own bumper-sticker.

When I heard the question about the "mess," however, I again told the pollster that this was surely financed by the Democrats -- again, no honest answer.

I don't remember all the questions now; all I'm sure of is what I've written about above.
