George: If Ron Enders (or any other Democrat) is interested in making sure that they don't elect another party-switcher, my suggestion is to see what the candidate stands for - not just vote because there is a [D] at the end of his name. I don't think Ron really means that he doesn't want a conservative, he probably means he doesn't want a right-wing extremist. If he does not want conservatives in office, then he probably did not vote for Mark Warner or Mark Earley in the gubernatorial election. Will Lyster (electronic mail, November 8, 2001).
