As the only Democrat ever to feel the impact of the Couric steam-roller, I admit that I might be a little sensitive. My only concern was about who might be driving the steam roller these days, and
was intrigued that Tom [Vandever's] long denial (anybody for Shakespeare here?) avoided any mention of Mary Broz and her connections to our former Senator.

Of course, he could be right and that the folks supporting Deeds just don't think any of the other candidates are electable.
