George,

In the spirit of cooperation and dedication to winning on Tuesday, the announced and unannounced candidates have agreed to refrain from using printed materials from Tuesday morning until Wednesday morning.

George,

The agreement that all senatorial candidates made was not to hand out their literature at the polls today or at the Victory Party tonight.

At the time of the agreement, Richards had already posted a mailing, and both O'Brien and Weed had made press releases, so those were not covered in the agreement.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Virginia Daugherty (electronic mail, November 6, 2001).

I have spoken to Creigh Deeds and John Conover has spoken to Al Weed, Meredith Richards, and Steve Kolezar.

Looking forward to a Democratic victory for Mark Warner, Tim Kaine, Don McEachin, Charles Martin and Mitch Van Yahres on Tuesday.

Nancy O'Brien (electronic mail, November 4, 2001).
