I believe any more talk about City Council elections when there are crucial elections on November 6th is ludicrous! One election at a time.

Support Charles Martin, Mitch Van Yahres and the Warner/McEachin/Kaine ticket now and don't spend any more time on something that is not IMMINENT!

Editor's Note: A Charlottesville City Council public hearing on whether to move city council elections from May 2002 to November 2002 had been set for Monday, November 5, 2001 -- the day before the elections which Will Harvey alludes to.

This public city council hearing was changed to Monday, November 19, 2001, after Will's letter was received.

There will be a League of Women Voter's forum on the subject on Monday, November 12, 2001 at 7 p.m. in city council chambers.
