Joan Fenton, who recently ran for the Democratic nomination for the Charlottesville City Council, is a Charlottesville businesswoman, chairwoman of Charlottesville's Board of Architectural Review and of the Downtown Business Association Committee.

Maurice Jones, is director of communication for the city of Charlottesville, a member Charlottesville's Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and of the 'I Have a Dream Foundation.'
