Editor's Note: There were 66 fewer valid ballots cast in the fourth round of voting [310 total] than in the third round [376]. Alexandria Searls was nominated on the fourth ballot with 157 actual votes and 53.18 weighted convention votes. On the third ballot, Alexandria Searls received 168 actual votes and 43.19 weighted convention votes, as compared with Waldo Jaquith who received 192 actual votes and 48.7 weighted convention votes on the third ballot. On the fourth ballot, Waldo Jaquith received 153 actual votes and 46.83 weighted convention votes. One can only speculate about how much Alexandria Searls benefited from
votes of supporters of Blake Caravati [who was elected in the third round]
and of Bern Ewert [who was dropped from the fourth ballot] and about the
impact of the diminished number of votes in the fourth round on Alexandria
Searl's nomination.
