Editor's Note: There were 19 fewer valid ballots cast in the second round of voting [414 total] than in the first round of voting [433 total] - due in part because some people left the convention after the first round.

Candidate Joan Fenton was dropped from the second ballot, having received the lowest number of weighted convention votes [25.02] in the first round. She asked the audience to cast their votes for Waldo Jaquith.

783 out of a possible 828 [i.e. 414 x 2] valid votes were cast on the second ballot.

And the big winners were Alexandria Searls (receiving 32 additional votes), Waldo Jaquith (receiving 23 additional votes) and David Simmons (receiving 12 net additional votes).

Bern Ewert gained a net of only 8 votes and Blake Caravati gained a net of only 2 votes in the second round.

While Alexandria Searls received more actual votes [154] than Bern Ewert [147] in the second round, she received a lower number of weighted convention votes [35.73] than Ewert [36.99].

David Simmons was dropped from the third ballot, having received the lowest number of actual votes [101] and number of the weighted convention votes [25.19] in the second round.

Blake Caravati, who was the front runner in the first round [with 188 actual votes and 44.83 of the weighted convention votes] remained the front runner in the second round with 190 actual votes and 48.22 of the weighted convention votes.

Waldo Jaquith, by contrast, received 191 actual votes and 43.68 weighted convention votes in the second round.
