On Friday, May 19 at 8:30 am in a ceremony in the Community Hall, Brad McCarthy was awarded an Honorary Diploma by the Tandem Friends School. The resolution adopted by the Board is as follows:

"In your career as winemaker and vineyard master you have brought honor and distinction to yourself, your family, your employer, and your profession. In overcoming your own personal challenges and in persevering to achieve as an adult what most of us took for granted as teen-agers, you have demonstrated one of the fundamentals of Tandem Friends School: that education is a lifelong process.

We are proud to call Bradford R. McCarthy one of our own."
