I'm with Lloyd Snook on this - the new "road", which is more of a boulevard, should be named Hemings' Blvd - 10th St from Preston/Grady to Main St needs to remain as is, given that there is a distinct city neighborhood which identifies itself with 10th St (10th & Page). That neighborhood association should be consulted anyway on any changes. The idea of continuing the name to Forest Hills is interesting - again, the people on that part of the street need to be involved. I like the idea of a marker somewhere on that new piece giving some background on the Hemings family.
