The price of silence is what the plaintiffs [agreed to]. The plaintiffs were complaining about both actual and made up damages.

Since most of the plaintiffs moved to the area after the landfill existed I find their complaining about it hypocritical at best. A cash settlement is what the plaintiffs were shooting for all along, and the settlement simple prevents the plaintiffs from having their cake and eating it to.

The plaintiffs who opted out of the settlement are the only ones who have any integrity to continue complain in my book.
