Except for those who may suffer an addiction for such materials, the allure of pornography does not seem to last very long in so-called enlightened communities like Charlottesville where people seem to have better things to do than masturbate.

I'm reminded of a statement from the writer, Erika Jong. She characterized the watching of sex videos thus - "Five minutes into an X-rated movie, I wanted to screw all of the time. Ten minutes later, I never wanted to screw again."
