We're All in the Same Boat
Saturday, May 4: There will
be a Peace and Justice Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the lawn of the
Albemarle County Office Building at Preston and McIntire and the public
is invited.
Speakers include Ed Wayland, Fouad Fadil, Heena Reiter, Robert Fatton,
David Waldner, Nouradeen Durkee and more.. Musicians include Devon, Danny
Schmidt, Tiger Lily, Debbie Hunter, the Blue Ridge Irish Music School and
more.

| PURPLE NOISE PARADE
A traveling circus, a peace train to feed into the May 4th Peace and
Justice SPEAKOUT! event in front of the Albemarle County Office Building
on the corner of McIntire and Preston avenues. May 4th 11AM, meet at the
downtown amphitheater. Bring friends, more friends, transportable musical
instruements, stilts, costumes, puppets, drums, noisemakers, anything else
large and colorful to grab attention. |
