![]() Teresa Dowell-Vest Teresa Dowell-Vest has just finished participating in a commercial for CTS. According to Marketing Director Diane Taylor, the TV commercial "is just one element of a comprehensive "choice" marketing campaign targeting discretionary riders. CTS ridership has increased with over one million passenger trips in FY 02 and the rising trend continues. More people are "choosing" to ride for reasons beyond necessity: to help reduce traffic, parking congestion, to protect the natural environment, to save money on gas & parking,... many points highlighted in the upcoming commercial." Teresa says, "More people on the bus means less traffic on the road" [1 full bus = 6 blocks of people driving alone]. ![]() What is Teresa Dowell-Vest doing when she is not participating in commercials for CTS? In May 2000, University Drama Prof. Ishmail Conway produced her new play 'Vinegar Hill,' at Charlottesville's Live Arts. From November 7-10 and 14-17, 2002, Teresa will be guest directing Rita Dove's Darker Face of The Earth at Piedmont Virginia Community College's V. Earl Dickinson Building, Main Stage.
Teresa has also formed a new company, Dowell-Vest Communications Group,
for which she is President and CEO.
