![]() John Johnson John Johnson has just finished filming a commercial for CTS. According to Marketing Director Diane Taylor, the TV commercial "is just one element of a comprehensive "choice" marketing campaign targeting discretionary riders. CTS ridership has increased with over one million passenger trips in FY 02 and the rising trend continues. More people are "choosing" to ride for reasons beyond necessity: to help reduce traffic, parking congestion, to protect the natural environment, to save money on gas & parking,... many points highlighted in the upcoming commercial." (Diane Taylor, electronic mail, October 16, 2002). ![]() What is John Johnson doing when he is not filming commercials and riding CTS? John shot his first film "Zap" when he was 8 years old. He then began a spree of No-Budget films through his education. At age 19 he had completed 50 films: 5 Feature lengths, 1 (20 Episode) Television show, and 44 shorts ranging from 2 minutes to 47 minutes long. His show "FearFighter: Save the Legion" aired on a local affiliate of PAX TV in Charlottesville Va. Then while shooting a western "The Just" John did a bit part in Steven King's "Hearts of Atlantis" where he made a slew of connections, which led him to the film "Skeleton Key".
After speaking with his long time hero Bruce Campbell he co-wrote a script with cousin Jimmy Belcher that was to honor the spirit of the horror film and those who enjoy them. The film is dedicated to Bruce Campbell for his time in chatting with John and helping him get on the right path. ![]() As well as seeking distribution for his new film, John has just been
contracted to write a book for Sub Rosa Books on how to make a movie for
no money. He is also in pre-production of his new film "Alucard"
which is a modern day version of "Dracula" that is strict to the
book.
