I don't understand how people can feel that the Chicks' freedom of speech was threatened. They had the freedom to voice their opinion. And Americans have the freedom to not like what they said. The Chicks took the chance, and now they see the consequences. They can't expect everyone to agree and like what they say.

I think that's the common misconception of most celebrities today. Just because people like your performance, doesn't mean they will like or have to agree with your opinion. The CD burnings and boycotting, that's the American people's way of speaking their opinion, so don't threaten their freedom of speech.

Personally, I feel that if your are against the war, fine; but now that our men and women are over there fighting for the safety of America, we need to stand behind our troops.
