Wednesday, August 6: Dean Meetup (Wednesday, August 6) at 7 PM at Gordon Avenue Library. They will be writing letters to New Hampshire voters encouraging them to support Dean. Also, for those who have petitions ready to be notarized, a notary will be present. Anyone interested in petitioning can get them at the meeting. Friday, August 15: Charlottesville, VA On Friday, August 15 at 12:30 p.m. Delegate Mitch Van Yahres will hold a press conference to launch the "Democratic Road Back" PAC. This political action committee is designed to support Democrats running for offices that represent the City of Charlottesville or Albemarle County. These offices include two state Senate seats, four House of Delegates seats, five City Council seats, six Board of Supervisors seats, and City and County Constitutional officers. The press conference will be held on the Downtown Mall in front of Delegate Van Yahres' office at 223 W. Main St. The public and media are encouraged to attend.
