According to Lisel Nowak of the Daily Progress, the goal for Toy Lift
this year was 10,000 toys. "By 5 p.m. Friday - within hours after the
first snowfall of the season - the charity had collected about 8,000 puzzles,
baby dolls and games and still had four more hours to go. The lift took
place in the snowy Lowe’s parking lot off U.S. 29 [and in Ivy]."
