Mr.
Ron Hasson, Editor Dear Mr. Hasson, One reason that I did not send a recent copy of a Letter to the Editor to your newspaper was that I have experienced, from your paper, a history of distorted reporting and alteration of facts as regards School Board issues. This was particularly true when a current member of the School Board was an employee of your paper. My apprehension was realized when I saw an Op Ed item that labeled my status as a board member. Four facts: 1. There were no political party endorsements or affiliation with any party, when I ran for the School Board. 2. Every person can have an opinion without another denouncing it .3. The voters will indeed decide for them selves whom to vote for. 4. The citizens of Albemarle County have only two more months to tolerate the inept shallowness and name-calling theatrics of the current at-large member of the School Board. John E. Baker (electronic mail, October 17, 2003)
