Fall Foliage Report: As of October 12, 2003, there were only occasional
patches of color, not full developed, in the
Shenandoah Valley. The predominant color was still green. Some clearly
defined color changes could been seen along the
Blue Ridge Parkway, but they were not yet at their brightest. About
three fourths of the foliage was still green.
