The special observance is the latest in a multi-city national tour by the "Let Justice Roll" campaign, seeking to make the issue of poverty in America a priority for candidates in the 2004 elections. On July 28 in Boston during the Democratic National Convention, 800 people of faith gathered in the historic Old South Church to hear the Rev. Dr. James A. Forbes, Jr., pastor of The Riverside Church, warn that Americans need to get poor people on their agenda "because its on Gods mind, As many as 300 Democratic National Convention Delegates were present for the service.
