George,

You have posted a Washington Post [article about a] study found that our political leanings are tied to "hidden biases." And that another study found that the less white people think of black people, the more likely they are to vote Republican.

Let me say that these "hidden biases" are not really hidden from persons who are aware--definitely not hidden from black Americans. Remember, what Senator Trent Lott told us: "America would have been better off if the late Senator Strom Thurmond had been elected president." And we might add, America would be better off today if someone of Thurmond's persuasion or stature was currently the president, according to people with Lott's mindset.

There is little or no doubt in my mind that it is true that the more racist-leaning a white person is, the more likely he/she will vote Repbulican even when in doing so he/she votes against his/her own self-interest. Of course, this is not to say that all people voting Republican are of that persuasion. Also be very aware that a lot of white Democrats vote Republican for the same reason. Questions: How can I vote to most strongly support a white supremacy agenda? Why do you think the South is overwhelmingly Republican?
