Help Turn This ![]() Into This ![]() at the First Amendment Monument The Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression invites you to celebrate Flag Day at the First Amendment Monument on the downtown mall. In the morning, Tobey Wilbur and Sophie Keady, rising seniors at Charlottesville High School, will draw a chalk outline of the U.S. Flag on the entire side of the monument's 42 foot long chalkboard. Throughout the rest of the day, the public will be invited to fill the outline with the flag's colors until complete. Anybody may participate. Just come by the monument and pick up a piece of chalk.
