We have received the final determination from the special prosecutor who was assigned to investigate Mitch and the Democratic Road Back PAC as a result of the allegations of impropriety lodged by Republicans Bob Hodous, Rob Bell, and Steve Landes last spring. Special prosecutor William Neely of Stafford has ruled that he finds "no merit" in the complaint and that he considers "the matter closed." The text of Neely's letter will be released at Mitch's press conference. Mitch plans to also speak about the frivolity of the complaint, the waste of taxpayers dollars, the capricious damage to his reputation, and the general loss of civility in the political arena. Wednesday, March 8: 1:30 pm at the Northside Library in Albemarle Square Shopping Center Susan Seidler will introduce the SeniorNavigator website and demonstrate how to use the site to answer aging questions. SeniorNavigator is a statewide non-profit whose website contains 19,000 local programs and services as well as articles and links to related websites for seniors, their families and caregivers. Topics include health and aging issues, financial concerns, legal questions, housing and long-term care, caregiving and more. Other features include a list of relevant General Assembly legislation with summaries of the bills and links to the full texts.
