Thursday, November 9: Noon. Public Vigil to Oppose the Death Penalty outside the Charlottesville City Circuit Court, 315 E. High Street protesting the execution of John Yancey Schmitt, scheduled for 9 o'clock this evening. There will also be a vigil at the Friends Meeting House at 1104 Forest St. at 8:45 p.m.
