I though the French were over the top when it came to protesting. I have to say the recent health care protests are approaching insane even for French standards. It's so surreal I laugh every time I think about it: Conservatives protesting like the French. Or like left-wing anti-war hippies.

People wonder why most Americans don't take politics seriously and have become completely disillusioned. The rabid partisans from the political fringes take themselves way too seriously and the rest of us just sit back and laugh at the circus unfolding before our eyes. Doo doo doodle doo doo doo doo doo doo...
