I like the idea of a war tax. It is about time that everyone understands the cost of war. We know the cost in lives as it is reported. We hear about the wounded and the families without a member for holidays, birthdays, etc. For the cost of the wars of the past 9 years we could have funded health care for all.

The rate could go up or down like a COLA -- COWA -- cost of war adjustment. Maybe it should also come out of social security payments. Let everyone feel the cost.
