It is truly a sad day that the United States is planning to turn the ridiculous policy of arresting hard working men and women who happen to be unauthorized immigrants into some kind of job-creation project in Farmville. Virginia and ICE do not need a detention facility (nor can we afford to waste taxpayer money on it). What we all need is a sane immigration policy that respects the workers our economy has been hiring from one place or another for 300 plus years.
