I think it is scandalous that a benefactor of Charlottesville, Paul Goodloe McIntire would have his request that [McIntire Park] be a park for the citizens to enjoy in perpetuity, now have his words parsed and subject to "interpretation" allowing a highway* to cross the beloved land he so generously gave the citizenry.

I wonder what his reaction might be?
