My initial reaction to Juan Williams comment was disagreement with his voicing of personal feelings that could support a bigoted and unfair sentiment against the general Muslim population.

After reading the Slate Magazine article of Oct. 21, 2010 Shirley Not Again by William Saletan however, I have had second thoughts and concerns. The widely circulated short clip, taken out of context of William's entire statement, intended to disagree with O'Reilly's recent position, appears to make the firing of him a rush to judgement on the part of NPR.
